Build your own ARK. A simple yet powerful testament to love and respect.
The Goal:
Perform at least 1 Act of Random Kindness every day
The Reasoning:
I was inspired by the ancient story of Noah and the Ark. As a story, whether true or not, this shows how simple acts can build up over time to produce the greatest feat of love and respect known to mankind. Through Noah’s daily acts, he was able to build a vessel to save life of all kinds. This is truly showing respect for all life, celebrating all the differences in life, and being true in your actions. This story is the embodiment of living your LifeonHigh.
Building an ARK is meant to be a constant journey, not a destination. The Acts of Random Kindness are meant to help you overcome the tragedies of life. The more ARK’s you perform, the more you are able to shoulder in the tough times. Just as Noah’s ARK shouldered the animals in the flood, your ARK can help shoulder society through devastating times.
The Catch:
Who you truly are as a person is represented in the random acts you perform. Being random, these are not activities that you have had time to think about, therefore the “right” or “wrong” aspect of the act is a direct reflection of your true self. If your random acts are of kindness, by nature, you are a kind person. The more kind acts you perform, the more a reaction of kindness will be embodied by your true self.
